Shrinking

The circumference of my comfort zone is shrinking
I am standing on a single toe, a promise of balance that is too ideal
Not real

I have multiple eyes on my body. They try to see all point of views.
An ant. Cloud. Raindrop.
Cat. Papa. Car.
The changing cabs and drivers.

The world around me is shrinking.
Smaller than the size of my dark circles.
My brain is shrinking.
Is it more like a cauliflower?
Or a single small pea with two cotyledons squished together?

Me from 5 years ahead stares at
Me from 5 seconds ago.
I don’t know either.

There is music somewhere.
I try to sway with the dancing trees,
For they too stand only on their crooked toes
With button eyes and shrinking fruits
Sour juice.
