life is a lovely chaos

Nations fall apart
Boundaries are etched over homes and hearts.
Rocks with no names suddenly have an identity
Soil from the earth becomes a part of age-old clarion calls.
Trees older than humanity stand strong
They have braved storms and wars
Only to be forgotten by literate minds of words
Intellect, that is often clouded, more often than the grey sky of the proud.
We have changed colours, brothers, sisters
All in the name of love.
But my love is a seed, somewhere deep beneath
Buried in the soil beyond lines of difference.
It is waiting, as am I.
For a day that will never come.
