Thump

All around, there is a storm brewing
A fire burning thump
Thump in my bones and veins,
I feel the need to do it all,
Do it right
To grow, so high, so deep
I outdo me in every manner and way.
I want to do so much
Much more than I ever thought I could
Because I thought a lot and never did.
It is difficult, I am breaking
And bending again and again
But it is worth every moment.
This rush, this need to prove to myself
And no one else
I will do it, because I can
If not now, then when?
