Cold humans with beating hearts
Warm with blood and love
From distances far away
•
I try to rub my fingers together
Capture some moments
In the cage of my ribs
So that warm will be in me
Not just the sun I feel melting away
Or the people I feel going away
•
There are others, true
But I look at them from in between fingers
A maze a chaos
I’m discovering I can’t solve
Too unknown too slippery
•
I go into me
Away from this world
Away from everyone
