Drowning

I’m drowning in a sea of thorns
Thorns of my feelings and hurt.

Even when things seem impossible
And future, an unrevealed dream
I believe, things will be all right.
•
If not now, they eventually will be.
•
I am full of your sunlight
Warm and happy.
•
So what, if I drown tonight?
In me, it is you and me.
