My heart constantly hammers
In the walls of my chest.
Away from my world,
We came and made a world
Of laughs, words, and a little lost love
Many people have dropped
Their stones in the lake of me.
They are me now, even if they don’t know it yet.
This first real taste of broken beautiful unknown humans
Leaves me wanting for more,
How my heart craves to hold time
And for just a few moments,
Never let it go.
~Change is never easy.

Empty vessels clanking
Falling off counters of marbles and granites
On a floor that is ten thousand feet below
Still, I can hear the echo
Almost like a scream that escaped my throat
A minute ago,
Shh…
There is only silence now.
White hollowed eyes look like eyes
Windows with white light
Clouds of grey masks and black silhouettes
Crowd an empty sky.
Wails scream through mouths that have no beings
Mechanical, mettalic- flying bodies with cockroach minds
It is a war, almost feels like one
Will our human selves survive?

Blank beaded eyes look into the distance
Disturbing, its dark body flies above me
I feel the air from the movement
A light feather falling on my shoulder.
It focuses its blank stare at me
“Kaw kaw kaw”
Calling in a tuneless monotone.
Bored, I sit and stare into space
Brown button eyes look into the distance.

“The universe is vast, it has no limit
Upon a mountain sits a being
Ethereal, he smokes to bear the cold
In his mind exists existence-
A blue planet in a blue mind.
All beings stretch and breath there–
Their physicality, their memories
Real to them, real to the world
But the world itself is neither flat nor round,
But a morsel of a thought.
The landscape of universe stretches beyond
A human can solve
This universe is limitless, because the mind is limitless
Imagination prevails above all.”

The crow keeps chanting to me, like it is sharing the secret of the world
I keep thinking of the office meeting and my response to a question-
A silly question to me.
Do I believe in God?
I wonder if the crow thinks of God,
If it thinks at all.
