Breathe~ A thought

unnamed

Everyone do a simple exercise with me.

*Breathe in*
*Breathe out*
*Breathe in*
*Breathe out*

Now, just imagine. While you were doing this exercise, someone took their last breath and someone took their first.
I find this entire world mind boggling!

  2. Now this is something that makes you think. Can you imagine everything people take for granted like air, oxygen and the miracle of birth. This was so short but it makes you think for a long time.

    1. I couldn’t stop thinking about it myself. I mean just imagine, how many hearts are beating right now, in this very moment. Some to the same rhythm, some different.
Makes me believe in the unity of us all. πŸ™‚

  3. I too do a somewhat similar practice, in that when I go for a run or drive my car, I see each person passing me by and think β€œEach of these people have lived a life like me, have their own fears and likes, and their own journeys.” And that’s just one person.

What an interesting perspective to have. Thanks for sharing this!

    1. This even makes me pause to think, Stuart. Sometimes I feel that each human has so much in them that even if only one human would be alive at the end of it all, humanity will find its way around.

I am glad you found this interesting, thank you for stopping by! πŸ™‚

    1. Sometimes I think, what are the chances that all of us are alive at the same time! I feel lucky to share a life with the plants across my house, the few friends in life, and of course- the birds. ☺️
